Adopt-a-Nutmegger! Convince Connecticut to Vote for Ned Lamont

Ok, nation, lets play adopt-a-nutmegger.

Here’s what to do: Find an eligible Connecticut voter and let them know how desperately the state, and the entire nation, needs a good progressive candidate like Ned Lamont. If it turns out that you’re not already preaching to the choir, convince them to get the hell away from the dark-side. Holy Joe the Torturer has got to go.

Sure, there are more than two million registered voters in Connecticut, but the U.S. just hit the 300 million mark. There must be enough people-power out there to adopt the whole constitution state. Don’t worry about saving everyone yourself, just prevent one or two voters from falling for Joe’s lies. Besides, you don’t need to worry about me. I’m already voting for change.

And, if you don’t feel like getting cozy with any one particular nutmegger, visit http://www.nedlamont.com and get involved. Read The Lamont Plan for Change. The country desperately needs candidates like Ned. If you’re saving your cash for your local progressive, then start shouting your ass off instead — post on blogs and forums, write letters, and call radio shows. Be the media! If you need a refresher, I recommend reading this long list of reasons to overthrow Joe.

This isn’t a normal mid-term election — there’s so much at stake here. Lieberman is willing to throw-out the constitution and habeas corpus in order to win the favor of the Bush administration. How can anyone assume that he’ll even caucus with the Democratic party?
