WS Weiner has proposed a 500,000 sq.ft. “Lifestyle Center” on Route 10 near I-691.
This is just another name for a shopping center and despite the “community amenities” that are being promised it will result in retail sprawl over the entire interchange area as other retailers jump on Cheshire’s short-sighted change in zoning.
Look for yourself and ask: Is this what we want in Cheshire?

Friends of Feral Cheshire Cats Adoption Event at Paws Pet Resort Grand Opening
Friends of Feral Cheshire Cats (FFCC) has been invited to show off their adoptable cats and kittens at the Paws Pet Resort Grand Opening. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 13th, 2007 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The cats and kittens will be on display in the comfort of the resort’s beautiful cattery. FFCC adoption counselors will be on hand to answer questions and provide information. Our cats may also be seen online at www.friendsofferalcheshirecats.org.
Paws Pet Resort & Spa is a luxury boarding and grooming facility for dogs, cats and other domestic animals. The resort opened in June 2007 and is located at 312 East Johnson Avenue in Cheshire, CT, 1/2 mile from Route 10 and 1 mile from I-691.
